Nondisclosure policy
This policy outlines the measures the organization is taking to ensure protection of its confidential information, including the imposition of a contractual obligation in the form of a nondisclosure agreement.

SUMMARY
A nondisclosure policy protects an organization’s confidential information from exposure to persons outside or inside the organization who could intentionally or inadvertently use the information in a way that could be detrimental to the business. Such information will hereinafter be referred to as “confidential information.”
A nondisclosure policy further protects persons authorized to have access to confidential information by clarifying and specifying their duties and obligations regarding the protection of that information.
OBJECTIVE
This policy will outline the measures taken by the organization to ensure the protection of confidential information, including the imposition of a contractual obligation in the form of a nondisclosure agreement.
